One of the most daunting tasks that TV writers face today is keeping their audience interested and wanting more. It gets harder and harder to write interesting shows as original ideas become scarcer and writers are left with fewer options. A show has to grab its viewer, reel them in within the first 3 episodes and keep them coming back every week or it’s dead. This is not the case for JJ Abram’s “Fringe”. Here is a show that is based on reality with a heavy dose of sci-fi which makes for a believable and compelling combination. The idea behind Fringe is to show how the advancement of science in the wrong hands can sometimes lead to unsavory ends and the consequences of those actions. The characters of the show are all well written and the plot twists never disappoint. Every episode leaves us wondering what is going to happen next?
