If I am allowed to do something again, it would be to go back and live my life as a boy when I was careless and did nothing to help my poor father in making our life beautiful. He worked hard and did everything he could to make us happy .I know he loved me very much and I loved him too. But I never got the chance to let him know that I loved him. I was busy with other things in my life. Now my dear father is dead and gone and I wish I got a chance to live again with my father so that I could show him the love and care I had for him.

The hardest thing in my life was to get rid of my habit of smoking. I was given to smoking more than thirteen cigarettes a day when I was only twenty. I had never been able to put a stop to it however hard I tried .But then one day I fell in love with a girl in my place .she was beautiful and she knew I was a heavy smoker and she could never love someone like me since she was against smoking. Strangely for me she came to me and asked if I would stop smoking for her hand in marriage. I agreed to the proposal and tried to get out of the habit and I was successful too. I have never smoked since. But she did not keep her word.

I   enjoy reading and watching TV. But the thing is that when I will be sitting for reading someone will come and turn on the TV when I will put down the book and start watching it. And so I get lost in what is on .And my reading gets interrupted. I have never been able to read a book at a sitting however gripping the story is. And now when I am about to watch TV, my mind forces me to go to the shelf for a book and the fate forces me to press the remote for something on TV. This goes on and on.

I wish I could finish the book I took three weeks ago.

The funniest thing in my life happened when I was about to perform the most serious and unforgettable thing in my life. I was not in the habit of wearing long clothes locally called mundu in our place in Kerala. I am used to wearing pants only. But this day it was to be a bit different. I was getting married and I was expected to wear this         long clothe. As I got up to tie the wedding knot, the long clothe I was wearing slipped down and I was standing half naked with the garland in both my hands. There was a loud laughter from all those there leaving me embarrassed and feeling ashamed. But the event is still funny for many and me now.
