Families are losing touch with each other.  I am not talking about cousins, aunts and uncles.  I am talking about brothers, sisters, moms and dads.  All around I see family values are being lost because people are too busy, things are too commercialized and there are too many ‘modern’ things that have gotten in the way.  Families are putting too much value on material things and not paying attention to the nurturing needs of the family.  A hug is far more valuable but it seems it has been forgotten.  Telling someone that you love them is being heard less and less.  We are hearing how wrong or how bad someone is instead of how well you did today.  We need to encourage each other and raise each other up.  No one likes to feel like they are not loved.
