Confrontations are always a sensitive event, one that most people try to avoid, however, I would gladly take the opportunity to confront my mother about the way that she raised me.  I grew up in a strict household, where running indoors was prohibited, staying over at at a friend’s house was prohibited, and eating junk food was prohibited.  Even though I have turned out safe and healthy, the strictness of my childhood is something that bothers me to this day.  By confronting my mother hopefully I would be able to ease my mind about my childhood and help her raise her future kids in a better way than the way I was raised.

The liberty of childhood is a fleeting thing, one that I wish had stuck around for a little longer so that I could do just a little bit more with it.  The main thing that I was formerly able to do is to say stupid things and not have to worry about negative effects from it, for the naiveté of youth is a great excuse for the lack of intelligence.  However as I’ve grown and gone to school, that excuse and the liberty that it provided has diminished, and because of the diminished liberties, I am no longer able to say stupid things and get away with it.  Oh, how I long for those days once again.

Goals are obviously important because of the direction that they provide, therefore, I have a few that I wish to achieve myself.  My two main goals are to marry a nice girl, and to build an advanced piece of technology from scratch.  However, as of right now, I am zero for two, but I’m not worried, because I have confidence that I will eventually achieve those goals.  Meeting the nice girl will come in time because when one looks solely at personality, finding nice people isn’t hard.  Also, building an advanced piece of technology will come fairly easily because as I get more educated in the sciences I will become more apt at building technology.  Also, as I continue to get more educated, the amount of money that I will make increases, which allows me to have higher research budgets, thus making the construction of advanced technology likely.  The goals that I have set for myself are easily achievable, and I have no doubt that with time, I will have success.
