As the name suggests, dog toys are toys that are specifically meant for dogs to play with. Dog toys serve various purposes and come in various shapes and sizes. One use which very few people know is that these toys are used for puppies that chew and gnaw on them as they grow teeth. This relieves them of the pain and soreness of growing teeth. The common reason is to provide exercise to the dog by running behind and playing with dog toys. Some toys are also used by the owners when they themselves cannot play with the dog. These toys keep the dog busy and their mind off the owner. Squeaky toys are a good example of the aforementioned. Frisbees and balls are probably the most used dog toys, which help in keeping the dog active.
