Husbands are good for nothing if they are not the providers, because they can do nothing else to have a smooth life.  Unless they need to go out on work, they would like to know if the wife approves of them. This is the case  of a husband who has a lot of inferiority complex and makes life horrible for the wife.  The favorite TV serial wherein a bold wife is shown or if the show is a good romantic one with a thoughtful person in the lead, then this leads to so much jealousy that they would not allow the TV programme to be watched. They want to control the way the wife is dressed, thinking that the better dressed wife will be a center of attraction and might be a better complement would come her way. I did not know how to get rid of such a person in my life also except going away from home.
